"he names his project after the combination of a prevalent animal and the tactile instruments with which humans experience a sense of touch. fox hands is a timid, noisy, jittery kaleidoscope of colourful sounds escaping from a man named adrian todd webb who lives in virginia, us. his music can perhaps be likened to other topically lo-fi natured artists who instill an old-time simplicity beset with a futuristic technological fascination, resulting in an otherworldly sound. very much independent, his bursting, rubbery, blinking video for his song ‘listen to the walls’ is a fascinating escapade into exploring visually the messy collage of his sounds. close ups of textures blurry like his voice, the visual effect starring in the video reflects the bend-it-’til-it-breaks rubbery and fuzzy guitar technique played throughout the song. the drums echoed in the blinking frame shifts, it’s another lo-fi troubadour exercising his wit and charm with fantastic results." - einstein music journal, new zealand
